Before I chopped it I went over your thread. Thought about going 4.5 for that very reason. I ended up just going with 4" all around. The guy doing my chop said four would be the max with where he cut the center bar. (Above the head rest) This kept the cost down some for me not having to mess with any of the center cross members. I did contact Joe and asked if he'd be willing to make another custom enclosure, he said it would just add 80 bucks. I'm sure I'll eventually take him up on that. Thanks for the heads up.
Here are some pics I just took. I tried like hell to get the scuffs to show up but didn't have much luck..... the one pic shows the worst of the scuffing. Want to make it known that there are light scratches up and down both sides.
my factory honda soft top looks like it’s been through about 2000 miles of brush.. the windows are almost translucent.

Is the clear scuffed, or are you talking about the black fabric? Let me know if Landman doesn’t get them. Do you still have the original installation directions?

Scuffing is on the clear, alot of small scuff from branches. I've got all the screw in snap buttons for the body and the storage bag. As far as instructions I don't have any but they are not needed. I could simply walk anyone through installation.
