Center Console- Armrest

I did a search but didn't find anything.... Has anyone made an armrest that would fit into the spot where the cup holder is located in the center console of a Talon (on a 2 seat... unknown if 4 seat is configured the same way)? If possible I'd like to save 1 cup or reposition it on the top (rear) of this item. Currently, I've got a travel mug that is about the right height (could be 1"-2" taller & padded) that I use but would be great to have something that is more purpose-built..... Thanks!!

Sneak peak for the Talon guys here. Bob gave us a challenge and we answered.
Yesterday 1/2/24, we were able to make a day ride of 50 miles in the tight Louisiana NF trails with the arm rest. It worked well so we feel comfortable moving onto a short production run to see how this goes.

I will be testing this on my 4 seat Talon also. If there are differences between the two models, then we may have to compromise on a single solution for both. Just looking at the machines, I think this design will work for both.

A regular tall water bottle set the height of the arm rest.
The top flips up as mentioned above.
The top cushion is a softish urethane 3d printed cover that snaps into place.
The frame is a sturdy design that attaches with new screws and clips at existing rivet locations. Similar to auto body clips.
I will say that it's not recommended to put all of one's body weight on this but it is much sturdier than I expected.
Compared to a similar arm rest in my buddy's RZR 900 Trail, our design is much more rigidly mounted.

We do not have a price set yet since we've only made one prototype for development.

So, we've got something that works, now to dress it up a little for production to make this work well for both models.

The cad model will be finished by Monday, then off to the shop again for a test piece. Just in case something in the cad model moved without our realizing.

Friday the cad model was looking GOOD! We closed the back because of the 4 seat Talon but the arm rest will fit both models.

Once we get a production run cost then we will be able to set a price. Production model will be aluminum with powder coat.

Round 2. This looks awesome now! Super excited about the finished product. We have a little more experimentation to do on the pad trying to make it a little softer. It's good as is but we want to tweak it just a little more for comfort.
