Check engine light and Red Neutral Light are flashing along with the N on the digital display.

It will start and idle. Will not accelerate at all, dies if you push the pedal. Paddle shifters do not work.

Tried disconnecting the battery in hopes the ECU would clear. No help. All fuses are good.

Ideas?

When you disconnected the battery, did you hold down the brake pedal to drain the capacitors? Sometimes this will help reset the ecu.

No I didn't. Just left the battery disconnected for a few minutes. How long does it take for the capacitors to drain?

Not long it's just that holding the brake for 20 or 30 seconds is the way I do it w/ my car, it may be totally irrelevant, not sure.

You can touch the negative and positive cables together to drain it instantly.

Clarification, the cables that connect TO the battery NOT the cables CONNECTED to the battery.

Now they tell me to disconnect from the battery!

Diagnostics flagged the TPS and MAS. Found chewed wires at the plug. Looks like a mouse is the culprit.

Wow, that's pretty crazy. Is that your mouse or their mouse? In other words, is it covered under warranty?

My mouse.

I paid $25 for diagnostics and brought it home.

Will be an easy fix. Getting to it is the time consuming part.

Will have to remove the air box, possibly the back rack and plastic, or both.

Good news is the rack and plastic come off as one piece and it opens access up like crazy to the area. Just pull the 8 bolts that hold the rack and disconnect the tail light harness and it all lifts right off. Less than 5 min job after you look it over and find the things to remove.
