I was thinking about dropping mine off for the update soon. But with this recall coming, I believe they will not release your machine back to you without the recall being completed. I don't want my machine sitting on their lot that long.

So now that several have the clutch update... have you been happy? Seems the chamfering of the oil relief valves seems to really improve the shifting and performance? @lee @JACKAL @Smitty335
The set of clutches that are in mine are # 3, I burnt the first 2 sets up. When it started shuddering on take off, knew the clutch was bad. It's smother on take off than it has ever been, believe they also enlarged the oil port to the clutches. No way would I have put larger tires on it with the way the clutches were.

I hear greasing the bearing in the oil bath will also add less resistance equaling a perceived 10hp gain!
Ha! I still don't understand that one, sealed bearing in a oil bath transmission, HUGH?

I have not heard of a clutch burning out with the update.
There have been a few issues with installation at the dealer but it was obvious something was up with the install.
Seams like it's working.
Obviously chamfering the oil relive valves is what it needed.

I quit getting after my wife for holding the machine on a hill with the accelerator.
This is my personal test to see if it's ok, the @lee'swife torture test.
