So now that several have the clutch update... have you been happy? Seems the chamfering of the oil relief valves seems to really improve the shifting and performance? @lee@JACKAL@Smitty335
2700 miles, clutch’s fried. Changed clutch’s and updated all recalls. Bike shifts better then ever. No shutter when taking off. 1st to 2nd normal hard shift then I can hear it shift more then I feel it. Very satisfied with new clutch’s and updated pan.
Be nice to be able to get the update have tried to get from two different dealer with no luck.
Any ideals how to get them off there ass to get the kits in????
I asked the service guy, who said should you lose a cylinder and continue to run the bike.... say to get out of woods or back it could overwork the exhaust and catch fire
Just a comment of my clutch update. My 2016 P1000/5 was picked up by the master dealer in San Jose Costa Rica and hauled 3.5 hours to do the service. The work was completed in one day but it did take 7 more days to arrange a truck to bring it back. Everything seems to be very good so far and no shudder on take off. They did the work as they said they would, I am happy.
