Well pick a weekend then......but after takeover. Mine is apart for re-engineering. Nothing like a few good trails to show your flaws.

Honestly the takeover will be out next ride unless we get out and hit the creeks with @Yankee. There's things going on every weekend this month

Now that I know that Coppenger Cove is what y’all been referring to as Coalmont, I have to agree. Used to ride in there all the time in late 90s in Jeeps with Middle Tennessee Trail Runners as well as all the area around Monteagle ...

I recognize quite a few of the hills from Docs latest videos

The locals call it different names. Most call it all the Gulf. Coppinger cove is on the far end. We seen quite a few Jeeps there last time I was there but that's been several months. The trails run a little more challenging in the side we were on in my opinion.

I'm gonna get with another fb group and learn some trails there. Several members are very knowledgeable about that area. Found out there's even a trail from Pelham to the gulf. Pelham is just a few mins from my house. They meet at Stuckeys on exit 127. Don you need to be doing some mapping during these rides. I wanna learn all I can.

Had to google that location. Think I know the trail. We used to run it in Jeeps as our Halloween night ride ...

Was it worth a crap? That'd save me a crapload of fuel not having to climb Pelham mtn. And save me about 30mins of drive time

20 years ago, it was great. Given my driving skills, I judged trails by what percentage of the time I had my front ARB locker on ... that used to be a 20% trail when dry (fairly high ) and 80-90% when wet. One of the few places where I laid the Jeep over (unfortunately I had the hard top on).

There’s a lot of water under the bridge so it could have changed radically
