P1000m5 Code 23

2018 1000-5. Battery finally went dead. Replaced battery and now have code 23. Do I really have a problem, or do I just need to reset computer.

What's blinking the code, gear position indicator or CEL?

Code 23 on the CEL is O2 sensor

Read that, but is it from changing battery, or a coincidence.

If it's blinking then it's seeing an issue with O2 sensor immediately. Look to make sure the wiring/connector isnt damaged.

If it's OK, then you probably need an O2 sensor.

Update. Removed negative battery cable for a few minutes and code is gone for now. We will see if it lasts.
