P700 Collar lift kits

Was looking at the collars lift kits for the shocks
Dies this have a impact on the ride ?
Does it take away from function of the shock any?

I had them on for 2 years and they worked pretty good...Helped the front out a lot.I didn't ned them on the rear....1'' is max I would say..
