COPS Locker for Talon​

Wait.. I thought someone had one already developed late 2019.... I was told they did. And it would be a game changer or something.

All they really did was take the front chunk from the Pioneer1000 LE. Hack it up and add the electronic 4x4 clutch. looked good on paper.

Reality: Torq-Masters did NOT deliver

Delusion: "hacked up a Pioneer diff and added the electric clutch"
Reality: used 95% OEM Talon parts based on a OEM Talon diff with 2 custom machined parts to achieve a selectable locking front diff. (Plus 2 cable brackets and a custom dash plate.)

It's the non LE meshed with the LE. Lots of common parts.

I do commend you for having the time and resources to figure it out.

You clearly didn't think that through even the slightest bit. An LE Pioneer diff doesn't have a locker. You should have consulted one of the resident experts on what to say.

The Pioneer clutch bolts on at 1, 5 and 8 o'clock. The Talon clutch bolts on at 2, 4 and 10 o'clock. The Pioneer input shaft has small male splines. The Talon input shaft has huge female splines. The clutches are not interchangeable. Not even close.

Since y'all already know everything I didn't need to tell you any of that. I look at these every day all day, but the real experts are you guys. Real knowledge comes from being a keyboard warrior on internet forums. Only a fool would go out in the real world and try stuff for themself before opening their mouth for the whole world to see that they're ignorant and extremely arrogant.

There are exactly 0.00 LE parts in a Talon locking diff.
