P1000m5 Cutting off while driving

My pioneer 1000-5 just started dying while I’m driving like it’s running out of gas??? It’s a 2016 model. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Might check ground wires then fuel injector wires. Common issues.

So, try different wordings to find what you need. If it's happening to your Honda, somebody on here already had it happen to them, now you just need to find it.

How long have you had your Honda?
Does it do it all the time, or only when hot?
Is it the original battery? Have you tested your battery?
Did someone swamp it?
Does it totally shut the engine off, or does it just loose all power down to an idle?
At what speed RPM does it do it?
Do you have any flashing dash codes?
Mothers maiden name, and your bank account number? haha

If it shuts down, then starts right back up the most common issue is the injector wires. Your dash will flash you a code 12 or 13 (one long blink, 2 or 3 short blinks) if it's an injector wire.

This was the issue on my 19 as well.

My '18 did it. It would start right back up like nothing happened. Seemed like when it got warmer, it happened more frequently.

I just replaced both while I was in there.

Still bugs me that Honda has let this go all these years. Still seeing it on the new models!

I had the same issue with my 2017. It was the injector wires. I bought the kit from here. Works great.
