Would be interesting to know if the Dobeck AFR+ will stop the de-fuel on tranny shifts, specially in the 2017 in A/T mode. I noticed right away that you can really hear the de-fuel pop on shifts in A/T, not so much in M/T mode. Reminds me of a buddy’s friends Mercedes AMG on full throttle 7000+rpm shifts, as it too de-fuels and you can really hear the turbo bark/pop off during shifts. My Fatboy Harley used to do the same pop on hard/high rpm shifts until I installed a Arlen Ness power commander and it adds a smidge of fuel at shifts and the pop went away.

i can tell you that when i added the hmf exhaust with dobeck ejk to my rancher it shifted so much faster with ZERO bog between shifts so i would imagine it would be the same they are pretty much same motor tranny everything

Yes Jak!! Thanks for the pix and update! Question, so can you set up the AFR gauge temporarily, adjust the parameters where you want then take gauge off? Or does it stay attached to the system all the time? Why the need for an O2 bung could you not just use the stock location?

Thanks again,

j

no can not use the stock location because the system still uses the stock o2 sensore for when its in open loop and i belive you need to leave the gauge attached but i could be wrong

Did you find out if you still need to have OEM O2 sensor to keep or remove it and use provided by Dobeck? Thank you!
