So here is my current set up , but have been throwing around the idea of selling and going with some deluxe camo wheels( the all black ones). I’m tired of getting covered in mud with them so wide. So here is the question, do y’all guys think some bighorn 28x10-12s will scrub on stock deluxe wheels ? I am running a moose 1.5 inch lift as well. Or would I be better off just going with some 27 terrabites? Thanks

Anyone running these? Made by itp. These 5+2 might help a bit better than the 4+3s I’m running now.

Those look good . I am running 5+2 and 27s mine doesn't cover me with mud. I don't much care for the looks of the flares currently available. Don't know about 28s but I have no lift and my 27s never scrub I bet those 4+3 wheels look good though.

Decent looking wheel for the money. 242 for 4 wheels. I’m just curious if it could fit on our 12 mm studs

All the wheels I’m interested in state they will not fit the pioneer due to taking 12mm studs rather than 10mm studs. Question is is the bore hole just not big enough ? Can I drill it out? Or will it fit and I just have to use my own 12x1.5 Lugs?

I don't really know about all that but did you look all all manufacturers they have some that are kinda close . If it were me I would rather go with one that fit.

That's where I go to they have the weight of every tire so you can get all the info you need . It's a good site.

i wouldnt do that. its not only the stud hole size but the lug nut in comparison. where the lug meets the wheel. especially with aluminum wheels if the holes are not all milled out 100% on the money you can have problems stemming from lugnuts backing off all the way to studs popping just from side stress of tightening. there is alot of wheels 14 inch and 12 inch for the pioneer. just have a look around. take your time and do it right.

I’m sure your right. I’d hate to ruin a brand new set. My neighbor has two 420’s and thought about asking him if I can borrow a wheel for a few min. If it’s close I could make it work. I got a good friend that has his own machine shop.

not sure what the difference is on deluxe wheels and the regular wheels but there has been a few people running 28s.with no problem there is 1 guy running 28 bkt on 2 inches of lift on here. iv been running 27s for yrs and 10 wide and 2.5 inch lift will scrub if you hit a hole just right. but thats momentum turning hard with a rough hit. iv never had them hit flexing climbing over things

Yeah I scrub every now and then with my 27,s (actually 25.75 inches) with my 4+3 wheels. I’m still trying to talk my uncle into trading me his wheels

mine has only scrubbed a hand full of times. Mostly when i got 4 adults and turning my wheel while going into a hole. No big deal though.

Looks like I found my answer. Seems the only thing different is the lug nuts, not the actual wheel.
