Umax box attachments

Found these handy little box attachments on the Yamaha site
I was wondering what the two rows of slots were for. If the tool box alone is $400, wonder what the dump bed qwe got would sell for, maybe a bit more? LOL

Looks really good, is the tailgate strong enough to sit on? assuming you had the bed bolted down good....

Man...I really like that, but dang, I wish it was a bit shorter. Doesn't quite "fit" with the size of the machine to me.

Can see that as a little long, but I wanted more hauling space for hauling stuff around my property. Hope to reduce my use of the Kubota In the yard areas. Thinking that the use of conduit clamps around rack tubes might make for easy on/off if needed.

I actually think the size is great, was worried the bed would be too small to be useful since it is made for a golf cart... just wish the dump hinges would line up better. I may take the rack off of mine and make some custom mounting points to see if I can get the hinge mounts to line up.

With the tailgate down it was a breeze to drag trimmings out. Picture doesn’t look like it has a lift assit as the pivot point is almost balanced on the Yamaha.

i bought honda quick connect clamps for their storage tray and attached to my Landmaster bed. That way i can take it off and throw it the truck and put tow able cover on it so i don't have to take doors and rear soft window off.

FYI, the underside box side frame channels line up over the OEM outer rack tubes.

finally got a chance to mock it up a bit with a 5/16 steel rod thru the hinge brackets, looks like I can get it to dump pretty easily with some custom brackets on the rack or maybe just use a steel rod of larger diameter for strength. it doesnt lift all the way up but does stay in place when lifted and will work without doing major mods or removing the rack...should be able to remove bed easily when needed for trailriding etc. the latch system also lines up nicely, another steel rod attached to rack will work good. thanks again mudder for all your effort getting these! hopefully will get a permanent setup done soon that will be easy to remove with quick pins. here are some pics:

Great work. Looks like the rear of the rack is preventing a full tilt, trimming it back could be an option, and still provide enough rack area for use if the bed is removed. But I know cutting the rack would be like that first scratch on a new car.
