Yeah, the options for full tilt are to trim/remove rack, lift bed higher/towards rear, or make some sort of sliding mechanism to mount the bed hinges on so it would clear and be able to slide forward when down. I think the dump bed is usable with this amount of tilt and prob just going to go with that for now to keep it simple...

Slide bracket is an excellent idea for those few times to dump. I might mock up some channel metal with a slot to allow a rearward slide for the rear bracket 11/32 rod/bolt. Found these metal scraps in the barn. The channel on the right is a snug fit inside the brackets. Just something to tinker with in down time, thats worth the price regardless. Really liking the sturdy tailgate for pulling out brush.

Thanks to @ohanacreek for picking up 3 beds today, its always good to meet a member in person. Wife dragged me to a fabric shop and I found some black vinyl, got some velcro to make a tonneau cover for those dusty rides. Vinyl is 54 inches wide, so 1 yard at is $10 worth a try. Riding buddy is an upholsterer.

At least a lot of the Takover guys have dust masks!

I've got my HondaSxS dust mask

If you pass close by and want a roadtrip partner let me know.

Thanks for the offer, We're taking lil 906UP to RRB for a week for her spring break from college since she's bummed she's missing the TO2020. Right now the weather looks warm by UP standards, mid 50's to low 60's :)

Enjoy time with the family, that is what this sport is all about.
Perfect weather it sounds like to be there.
We are in the U.P often for various reasons the next few weeks we will be there for a few days if your available and we are close enough maybe we could meet up with the families and have supper somewhere.

Spent a little time working on a layout for the dump bed frame then ordered up some square tubing. 3 - 4' sections of 1" sq & 2 - 2' sections of 1.5" sq tubing on order, along with some gussets & 6mm weld nuts so I can reattach the factory fenders. If it works out as planned the floor of the box will be about an inch lower than the height of the OEM rack.

If you don’t mind, keep track of final layout measurements.

Had some time to work on the dump box, have the basic frame tack welded together. Going to pull it back off tomorrow and finish weld and add bracing, gussets & weld nuts for the fenders.

Great progess. Are you using a rod for the dump latch? The lower profile looks good.
