Hi there, new to the group. I have a 2020 1000-5 with SATV flip up windshield and a Bimini soft top. I have 2 kids so the back seats are up alot and when we ride it seems like they eat alot of dust now with the new windshield. Ive been trying to search for the right thread on how to improve the dust problem but, im not finding the right post i guess. Anyone got any suggestions?

The windshield causes a low pressure area behind it, drawing in dust from the rear, your very own dust. When it isn't cold or raining, my windshield is up (normal for me). Another help is a rear curtain of some sort to stop the inbound dust column. Having an air compressor would help blow the dust off everyone back at camp/trailer but none of us have that nicety. I'm not sure how I'll handle the dust when I head for the desert, I'm new to SxSs and haven't experienced the dust on my trail bike. It's definitely going to complicate things.

No roof, no windshield. No dust problem. My wife has a soft top that she'll put on if we are riding and a good rain is expected, but other than that its about enjoying the fresh air. Doesn't really get all that cold here in Arkansas so its a non issue, if a full cab was needed she would be in a suzuki sidekick or something so she could have heat and ac while she trail rides.

3 options.lose the windshield.add a soft rear panel.put your kids in mx helmets and goggles.you can't eliminate dust, you can ease it slightly.personally,my grandkids don't get in without helmets.i have a top, windshield and soft mid panel and everything is covered in dust at the end of the day.

some sort of rear window or dust screen is needed. I only have a 3 seater and if you don't but the rear window down when you have the windshield up it draws dust terrible. It also helps a lot to put bulb seal around the doors. Keeps it from getting sucked in between the large gaps. I think I used 5/8 or 11/16 bulb seal off Amazon. Wipe the doors down really good with alcohol then apply 3M double sided tape then stick the bulb seal to that.
