Multi EASY DOOR RATTLE FIX FOR PIONEERS

[Pilot2016]

I bought some 3/4” x 1” waterproof sealing adhesive weather strip.

I have only done the front doors so far on my 700-4 as pics below.
It works great.
SOLID NO RATTLE DOORS NOW.

They are firm to close but feel like quality car doors🤣🤣

I backed up the self adhesive with some spray 3M glue.

Or you could just adjust the rubber bumper by the latch

That’s true but sometimes that thing doesn’t adjust far enough.

Yeah, my bumpers/snubbers aren't long enough. The doors still rattle.

go get a pack of those 3m foam rubber stick ons that you put on the bottom of chairs/table legs to prevent floor scratches and stick them on where the door snubbers hit the body.i did mine and they work great.zero door rattles.

Pilot, how is it holding up? Is water or mud or watever breaking down the seal? I'm going to do this in the fall to reduce the snow and wind blowing in.

1/4" thick piece of dense foam glued to the frame for the the adjustable bumper to strike, took care of that problem.

I bent out the bracket with a screwdriver then screwed rubber stops back in. Stopped rattle. Might need to adjust stopper a few times but it does work.
