Keep in mind this is real world test and wind maybe blowing harder one day may have less sun and more shade. Numbers are what they are I don't care how they compare to other test.

See pic for new placement of fan.

Test 1

Outside temp 90deg
Under seat- No fan- 153deg
Under seat - Fan on- 139deg
Side of seat hot spot- Fan on 129deg
Side of seat hot spot- fan on- 129deg
Driving around no load- Fan on- under seat temp- no change in deg
At this point I checked Radiator temp 178deg (This is n't changing but the big test under load)

Test 2
Outside temp 108deg
Under seat- Before- 139deg
Under seat - After- 165deg
Side of seat hot spot- Fan on 129deg
Side of seat hot spot- fan on- 135deg
At this point I checked Radiator temp 199deg
To give an idea how hot it is
Sand 143deg
SXS roof 128deg
SXS dash 125deg-135deg depending on spot you check.
My pants was 111deg
Its hot

My opinion I think the new placement helped the cooling It was 9deg hotter and at the end of the trip the Radiator was 4deg cooler. It still was at 3 bars.

Going to leave it and see how it does this week Friday temp will be 99deg so will be a better comparison. But it has done it every afternoon for 2 weeks so even tomorrow at 94deg should tell me if it helps.

Bonus I have the Alienshade mesh roof with my Hard top on I knew it was helping cool the cab but no idea how much test showed Roof 125deg mesh roof 109deg. (See Pic)

Thats how mine was originally see first post I swapped to see if cooling the Transmission would yield a better results as far as cooling the motor.

Bradley-Thornton could you put a fan on both sides of the motor to blow on the tranny and the header?

Ok, So the Inkbird Dual Stage DV 12V Digital Temperature Controller relay is only good for 10amps and the fan is 7amp so I will have to add another relay to that one so I can run 2 fans

Hello I am trying to do the bilge fan also. But this is in the way. It’s a 2020 and I don’t see it on any of the other post.

No in Illinois, possibility of removing it?
I wouldn't remove it. I say that just because i really don't know what its all tied too.

Did you know you were buying a California model?

Confirm it by checking the following.
Warning plate just under the driver seat.
If max weight is 1248 its a CA unit.
If it is 1649 its a 49 states unit.

Load rating sticker in the bed.
600lb is a CA unit
1000lb is a 49 state unit.

they let me start using my 98 Jeep and it has AC so test ended. I'm going to add another fan and have 1 blowing air away from the header and 1 blowing air over the transmission side. From My test I think it will help. Also I think it would help to add open and close vents at my legs so I could pull cool air out of the cab.

That's what I was thinking of adding was some vents behind your legs to pull some cooler air into the engine bay. Even thought about putting a 7"fan there.

I did a ton of looking and this looks to be the only thing I could find that I could open and close that would fit nicely.
