that is a great design really, so i have 5 of them.
however the fill neck on the bloody talon is to small, it'll require the use of an older style that isn't legal in Glamis or Cali for that mater.

I figured it out when I needed to refill and it wouldn't fit. I hope they make a slightly smaller version someday. I had to borrow a gas can to refill. I loved that tuff jug.

So the reason they went with a smaller fill neck is so we had to use different cans? Does the Pioneer in California have a different fill cap?

I have to agree a problem isolated to one states rules is not a fault on Honda. Is the fill hole the same size as the Pioneer 1000 I can fit 3 gas station hot dogs and a nozzle and pump gas into the tank it's huge.

No the Talon is much smaller. I used this Tuff Jug on the Pioneer. That's why I don't think its a state law problem but I design change for some other reason. Hot dogs, that's funny, but true.

I wouldn't blame Honda for a communist state's regulations, their the reason I cant get a fuel can with a regular fill neck anymore. I cant remember how many of those stupid a** "press to pour" lids I've tossed in the trash over the years.

Edit: Not to mention their also the reason your P1K can only haul 1500 lbs in their state since anything that can haul a ton is consider a "utility truck" and they'll tax the s**t out of it.

Again I'm sure Honda wasnt worried about quick fill cans when designing the fuel spout on their fuel tanks.

Why not just buy the lid and tube for 1 can for your Talon? Those 2 kids look interchangeable.

ny is the same as ca in everything, guns, stupid rules, I have not found a gas can that doesn't leak all over me and my bike within a year either so whats smarter the way where you could actually get it in without making a big mess or now. just keep a hard trans funnel and take off the lid

thanks, be good for the pioneer too with the angled thing set back. those push ones make a terrible mess are slow and stink up my avalanche two or three times a month I got to fill them in the summer. they were ok for the mowers they have big up and down filler that it rests on but might be time to replace them

Looks like every dirtbike jug I've ever used except I've got the long flexible tube on mine. Is the one with the tube you posted a smaller cap?

Because most of the jugs we use to sell no matter who "made" them, were all the same with different stickers. Until they came out with the smaller jug with the wire to bend the hose. Those have a smaller cap.

But the quick fill ( red top) should screw off and you could just screw on a cap with the loose hose. Unless I'm missing something.

I’d take it back and demand the right one with the right fill cap and stickers!
