Flat bed 1000-5

Finally got to making a bed for my 1000-5. As far as I know it’s the only one like it in existence! And yes the factory back seats are still there and work perfectly. I do custom fabrication in missouri if you have an interest and we build beds for all sxs.

Question tho, with it being all steel, how much does it weigh and how much extra than the stock bed? Have u weighed the rig total after the mod?

I would say it added 150 lbs

Well thats not really a flat bed.I like it you did a nice job.I seen one that was truly flat it was pretty cool but not for me.

Well thats not really a flat bed.I like it you did a nice job.I seen one that was truly flat it was pretty cool but not for me.

Yeah most flat beds are well, flat with no sides.

Nice work, why did you tapper the rear, planning to put the roll cage back on? Did you put a stronger gas strut on to help assist with dumping?

Haven’t put a stronger gas strut on yet, but it sure needs it!
