In all fairness, she is due for a hot streak. Happy as hell to see Steve Torrence get knocked out. Nothing against him but it was time.

Steve was beginning to be like Greg Anderson was in pro stock and winning all the time. Makes me a little disinterested when I kinda know who is going to win.

Exactly. What E.T. jaw dropper do you think is coming this year? Robert Hight is gonna drop one. Brittany is gonna drop one too with Grubby turning screws. I cant wait to see who does what. Was disappointed in Gainesville numbers. Bout as good as it gets for air and elevation.

Well one already was Matthew Hines on the Harley. Even though I like Schumacher rides better than Forces rides I think Hight just might do it. The air in Gainesville was great so it might be a while before anything jaw dropping happens. But if we get good air at a good track anything is possible. I tend to go against drivers more than pull for others, pro stock is a good example. Hopefully with all the hullabaloo in Factory Stock Showdown it will take over pro stock.

Dont get me started on the harleys. Ill never get off that soapbox lol. I will say this...theyll have a couple more good races then theyll fall off like always. Sandbagging prevents any nhra interference. Screaming Eagle has perfected the art of e.t. management lol

Yea I think the 4 wide Nationals is next. Not my favorite but it is drag racing! I think it's this weekend in Vegas.

Yes, this race is sponsored by Denso I think. I am pretty sure Bruton Smith owns both tracks. I am pretty sure Charlotte is a little later in the schedule. After this race they go to Houston which is a pretty fast track depending on the conditions.

They are very light because the sidewall is 2 ply but has a lot of rubber on the friction surface. I am not positive but 45 to 50 pounds each. The size is 36 tall, 17.5 wide on a 16 inch wheel.

Are they balanced and how many passes can you get out of a set and tire pressure? Is there a point in the life of them that peaks?

They don't make but 1 or 2 passes and air pressure is normally under 10 psi.

They can get up to 8 runs but it depends on track and weather. I think the tires are about 900.00 each and yes it is expensive. That is why sponsors are so crucial.
