Are frame caps for 2015, 16, 17, 18 P5 interchangeable? I need a set for a 2017. Does anyone have the part number for a set? I know they look better, does anyone have any pros or cons on them?

All I know is when I power wash mine all kinds of dirt mud and debris washes out. Personally I would rather be able to wash it out and let it dry instead of keeping moisture and debris trapped.

I've had them since new as well (2016). I removed the lower rear square plugs because they were holding water.

Had when new but removed, rather wash out and periodically spray rust prevention. Aircraft grade, wall climbing liquid, applied with air compressor.

Thanks all for your input. I have decided not to use the caps as most of the comments supported my fears. Where I do most of my riding I often have to run in water, most with sand bottoms. Our water here is high in tannic acid from the trees, read that as swamps, and very fine sand gets into everything. Best to leave the tubes open so they can drain and be flushed. Thanks Mudder for the info on the rust preventer. I am assuming you get it on line. Thanks again.

Looks fun, vent lines installed?? Don't know how well the rust preventor works, but it gives some piece of mind, LOL. That brown water reminds me of the cypress tree water in the Dismal Swamp in VA. Thought it was used in olden days by sailors as it stayed fresher during ocean crossings.

There is a lot to be said for peace of mind. One of the first things I did was extend the vents and you can see why. Most of the water you see is coming out of cypress ponds, mixed woods and oak hammocks on it's way to the St. John's River about a mile away.
