I searched here and google and didn't find much. I have a 1000 and need to do my front outer cv boot which I guess means I have to do the front inner as well. Is there a video or step by step somewhere on this? Thanks in advance. Going to attempt this repair today.

What makes you think you need to do the front inner as well? Is it also torn?

That's what I was told from Honda. They don't even sell the outer without the inner. If you know a way to not do the inner, I'm all ears!

I did the rear outer and they said the same thing.
You could re-use the inner but I bought a spare inner and outer and decided to use both.

My prices in Canada - the All-Balls were way cheaper then Honda and I'm happy with them.

I have no idea how you would do just the outer without taking the inner off. I messed with it for a couple hours and finally pulled the clips and took the inner joint off. Easy peasy from there.
