Was told by an ole off roader, rock crawling, low mount, high speed, upper mount/roof . I went the middle, top of the bumper. Roof mount here would last like a fart in a whirl wind! HA!on the roof or the cage?
Decided to go a different route 52 in curved light bar on the way. Going to mount it by windshield above hood. Thank you for all the suggestions. Decided mounting one on roof wasn't the best idea since all of our riding is trails.
Made a additional loop out of 1 inch BLK steel pipe and welded it to the bumper and mounted light above radiator inflow, knowing I was going to CO.And I'm short and didn't want to have to look over the light.I think i lost you,so were did you mount it?
Not really, I just know with the trails I ride what will be less maintenance. The flip out windshield, the jury is still out?@Smitty335, you ever thought or mass production? I see a definite profit for you!

I put an 18 inch one in front of the windshield in the black cut out area behind the hood. That way you're not looking through the light beam and it's high enough to clear a plow and to light the road or trail worked very well also easier on the wiring already being in the hood areaI have a 26in light bar thinking about centering it on the factory roof. Has anyone tried this before? Only concern I have is would it bounce? Wanting to put it several inches up the roof but below the roof line.
