Front Mount Plows

I own a 2014 400-7. I was told by a dealer that Honda does not recommend putting on a front mount plow because it could ruin the frame. So i ended up buying push tubes. I noticed that the 2023 models show pics with front mounts. What year did they change, so that front mounts are ok?

A lot of dealers are morons. So what did you get, a mid mount? They work too you just can't lift the blade as high for piling. I've been running a 66" KFI on the front of a P5 for 7 yrs now. No problems whatsoever.

I concur, that sounds ridiculous. Mid mount plows are a pain in the ass.

Call KFI, they are very nice and helpful.

I’ve been pushing snow with 72 “ KFI on 2019 700-2 with no issues also. It’s a blast and just got done plowing 13” of real wet snow. I’ve also used same Mount to attach a small 40” bucket and moved several tons of landscaping gravel from pile to several yard location projects. That saved a lot of shoveling!

Your dealer is a dumbass, thats the only plow mount Honda has ever sold for any SXS. Only their ATV mounts are attached to the middle of the frame.

Find a new place to have your unit serviced or to purchase things from because they have their head up their ass.
