P1000 Front seat bracket

I was adding a heat shield and this bracket dropped out from the back of the front seat, not sure where it goes can anyone help me figure out

where to put it back?

if I remember correctly it goes around the drivers/middle passenger seat belt area to help secure the rubber heat shield under the seat. I believe the pins go into it to hold the rubber sheet.

That's funny, had the same thing happen to me! I could not get it back in with the rubber and DEI heat shield, so I left it out!!

when i converted mine to bucket seats i don't recall ever even seeing that bracket.

What @Vikes79 said......it holds the mid panel between the back rest and seat bottom to the rubber shield. Mine fell off when I did my heat shield and i was too lazy to put it back on 😂.....been like that for over a year no issues 👍
