Will a low battery cause the fuel pump to not pump?
Ive got a battery in the shed that reads 12 volts with the volt meter but aint got enough ass to light up a 12v bulb, so yes. However, check your fuses and relay and make sure cable ends are clean. Im sure someone else will be along shortly with more advice. Welcome to the forum btw!

How low? What is the voltage across the battery? If the voltage is down a bit, say below 12 volts, the computer will not allow the machine to start. However, to answer your question, the fuel pump will still run, down to 7 or 8 volts. Just won't pump much pressure.

I have to revise my answer, the fuel pump is turned on by the computer (ECM), so if the battery is low, the ECM might not turn the fuel pump on.

Will a low battery cause the fuel pump to not pump?
The Pioneer 1000 electronics are very voltage sensitive, but they also have had a history of loose ground wires that also cause near identical issues that can affect everything going through the ECM. If your battery is showing less than 12.7 volts sitting or 14.1 volts running it is not fully charged, or being charged in case of running.

Having said that try and track down the main ground wires, the most commonly found loose are both battery terminals, negative terminal cable to frame and engine ground wire to frame based upon historical solutions reported by members over the last 4 years on the P1K.

Also don't forget to check the fuse for the fuel pump under the hood make sure it hasn't blown.

Ok. So now has flashing lights. Flashes 9 times. What's that mean?
