Almost 3 years with the metal one, no issues. Easy install, nice addition. This is how I traced the cut out, a hole for the rear support first to allow centering. Might be able to use a similar method on the plastic one. 10 minute job.

I think it was about 85 bucks easy to install took about 20minutes plus you can get the door personalised to say whatever you want

Either way, having a box in the P500 is well worth it. Guess Honda was trying to keep the list price low, but good ole USA entrepreneurs filled the void. Kudos to both of you guys.

For the $51 difference I would go with the original. Everything I buy for "The Toy" is at least $100 but normally quite a bit more.

It’s a pretty cool Box! I do have to say if you could figure out how to make it cleaner looking without the lower hinge and riveting it would be one of the nicest out there! The customization is a nice feature!

Just installed the plastic glovebox in my granddaughters P500. Easy install, if you have the factory winch you will need to relocate the solenoid.
