i got 4,2 boys and 2 girls.my oldest grandson is almost 5.we went camping last weekend,just the 2 of us.he got his first fish, on a fly rod no less.he was ear to ear smiles all weekend.nothing compares to being grampa.

Great story! We had our boys out fishing when they were 1 year old and the outdoor person that my son is, this child will be brought up that way also and we will do a lot of baby sitting in the outdoors!

I miss mine terribly as they are in Japan with my daughter and Air Force son-in-law.

I had kids young and my daughter got married right out of high school and started a family with her childhood sweetheart, so I had three grandkids before I turned 50 a few months ago.

I've been researching the safest out door play set today and tried to talk to my wife about it, she said I was going to drive myself crazy, the child won't be be ready for out for play for 3.5 years, I'm excited!

There's not a "safe" playset. There's the boring ones, then there's the awesome one that has everything at the grandparents house. Good luck. Looking forward to seeing what kind of pool your going to have when your grandson is 4 and his soon to be little sister come over to swim. Lol make your house the place to be!

It's already there, got up Saturday morning and had a premeditation that this was going to be a special day, yea I know. Kids were supposed to show up at 2:00 PM and showed up 15 minutes early, usually the other way around, while I was getting out of the shower, sensors went on full alert! They handed me a card and bag, I pretended to read the card and pulled the paper out of the bag and pulled out baby clothes, tears streaming down my face, said cool! HA!

my grand daughter came over this afternoon to play in the sprinkler and have icecream cones.she turns 2 in a couple months.she can't say grampa yet so she calls me gramma.it's very confusing to us.that kid wore me out today.

My oldest son the one who has been with this wonderful lady for several years got married eight weeks ago was on a business trip Fathers day, the same week of his birthday, so today we caught up today with a crab boil, Birthday/Fathers day dinner and played some Bocci Ball and then this! When I opened up my Fathers Day present, got this;
