My dad bought a new light blue 1979 Delta 88 with a diesel. I drove it from here to Indianapolis for an Allison transmission school. It had less than 10,000 miles on it and the head gasket started leaking in Nashville on the way up. Spent the night in Nashville and the next morning filled it with coolant, ran the radiator cap loose and managed to drive to Indy and back without anymore trouble. He loved that car it rode good but was plagued with problems.

It's not a good picture but you can see the rear of it to the left of my LRT.

I can’t see anything but the lil red!
I kinda miss that truck, it was brand new that day. I did keep it for 17 years though. It went through several different wheel and tire combos in those years. Factory for a minute, then Cragars, then Weld Wheels.

I was looking for some pics to share with a friend tonight, and stumbled across this of my son tanner in Idaho. I showed it to him, and he asked when are we going to go back. That was a fun weekend 716d9acbbd7e68210d80f55ed6b05542
Cheers!

I see a Daytona (or maybe a Laser). Always liked the looks. I got to own an '84 and '85.
