Wish I could make the Ferd get better mileage. I average 10.3 with the camper and 13 without. Forking sucks gas with a bucket!25.2 mpg cruise at 80. Checked the real way. Pretty happy with that number especially with all the extra power on tap now.

We generally run 5 gallons of gas through it in late July then again in August. We pump water out of the creek so it helps to keep the pond level up when it is dry and oxygenates the water to keep the fish happy. Since the creek is usually pretty cold I guess it helps to cool the hot stagnant water too. And for the animal lovers, when we netted a butt load of bream out of the pond I hauled them all to the creek and turned them loose.How much of the time is that going
