I cheated, put electronic point system on. Guess you have figured out the point replacement of the front distributor , just take off the entire assembly and set points, you can't get it out 180, only goes on one way.

Exactly. I still have points in that front distributor lol. When that goes out I’ll go to electronic. My buddy ownes Skips Repair in Hamburg Mi that’s all they do is old Ford Tractors, Parts, maintenance, repair and rebuilds. He’s told me the same thing, as soon as those points give me trouble Change them out to electronic. Chit...that’s ben a lot of years since I put those new points in and sill going strong lol. Although I have changed the hydraulic with one from a Jubalee

I had one hat rim go bad, so I replaced withe the newer rims. Dad completely restored his 52 and had one bad rim, so I gave him my good rim and now he's got a complete stock restored 8N, it's really nice, he's won several tractor shows.

Beautiful machine you got there. Like @sharp says accessories don’t add much. Around my area you might get $10-11.5K for it as a private sale. Dealer might give you $7-9K on a trade. Also depends how eager you are to dump it and scratch that itch you got.
