Did you build that? Looks like that one is bolted on..

I get strengthening the other cross members, but just to confirm;
I see two wider cross members to the rear, and one more wimpy looking one toward the front below the coolant lines.. is that wimpy one there already? Is that the primary weak spot? Is the piece below going there to add additional support in that spot?

There's the wimpy lookin cross member at the bottom of the pic.. without any clamps on it. does your other piece bolt in right in front of that? Where the I see the bolts in the frame?

The weak spot at the missing crossmember is the exposed shift shaft for the sub transmission. At the back the 2 oil pan crossmembers are pretty flimsy and I punctured an oil pan.

You can see my crossmember bolted in right in front of the sub trans.

Yeah I keep it as clean as possible. To much invested to let it sit outside full of mud. Plus I've got some maintenance to do.

Yea, just messin with ya. Mine gets cow s*** on it daily, but whenever I really get it dirty, I do wash it.

Depending on when we go, it’s definitely a possibility. I’m still in the dog house for leaving him behind on this last trip.
