Trip to Mack’s Pines with the fam this weekend. Wanted to see how the LX handled the trailer with both rigs on a road trip. Been awesome! Getting around 9mpg so just about the same as the Tundra.

Seeing one makes me miss my XD. It was the perfect truck for me but I got worried about it. Cranks were breaking and even my tech at Nissan suggested I think about trading it. So, sadly I did. That LX of yours is pretty cool too.

That’s what I’d always heard. They are great looking trucks Had to pull this junk ass Nissan out already this morning with the grocery getter…

Since it’s posted here…and you are the resident expert. What’s your thoughts on the Cummins 5.0. It’s gone and I don’t have to worry about it but I did really like that truck. I get that it’s sort of a gimmick motor but for my uses it was perfect. The crank issues really had me worried so I got rid of it. I had deleted and tuned it with PPEI SOFT tunes, and was running the +20 hp if I remember correctly. My thoughts were that being deleted it would run forever based on my usage but I couldn’t risk a $15000 long block if the crank broke. I traded it right before my 5 year warranty ran out. (My tech knew what I had done and told me that if I had an issue to put it back stock and he’d take care of any warranty issues…up to the 5 year mark)

Much needed ride today. Woods were rough, downed trees everywhere after the last bad storms that came through. Bounced over some big trees, broke through the ice on some deep rutted puddles and everything. Scared a couple times we were in trouble and might not get out after serious bushwhacking alone. Snow slicked everything up and covered some bad stumps.

Nearly 1/2 tank in 3hrs to cover only 16 miles but she did it and back home safe.

Great looking truck and they are quite tight and drive good. You know it’s a Jap truck driving it, there’s no mistake on quality. Haven’t seen too many problems
In the 47k I put on mine had a Turbo Actuator go out and although it was functioning my turbo was setting a code that was enough for my tech to just order a new one. It was backordered so I just traded it. (After he suggested I do so)
