I love the 1000 even with our problems but...if the end of the world comes I sure as s*** would rather a 700. 700 is old school like Honda quads and will sit in the weather for 10 years and still fire up. Technology is great till you have to pay for it out of pocket. Most warranties will expire before the payment does. I've recently learned not put 100% trust into warranty anyways.
LOL...i was about to say something about being dropped in the Sahara with 1 machine of my choice...a machine where its failure would mean certain death...then easily the 700. I think the 500 is probably equally reliable, but less capable in the Sahara. So i guess the 700 for the Sahara, and the 500 for the jungle. There ya go!

Id have to go with my old suzuki king quad 300. Great top end speed. Super reliable and 15 gears to go anywhere

If you remember, that machine started as a 250 4wd. The 2wd version of it was my 1st quad...but...a KQ300 with great top end? I've never seen one of those...LOL! I do wish they would get in the SxS game with the 750KQ engine.

Really? Didn't seem like they would do that...BUT, not too much room where i grew up for such things.
Not the fastest out of the hole but it would run. A friend of mine couldnt catch me on top with his 550xp. He was flabbergasted.

Tisk...tisk...i think i only saw 45 there until you went downhill a bit. I'm not sure that counts!

Looks to be in good shape (the speedo actually works, which is rare). Post up some pics.

These were the machines of choice around home BITD. Not too many Honda's until later.

The one that goes 70 and 35 at the same time?
I think it's referring to "feels like" speed. That old piece of crap rattle trap. I felt bad for Cricket on our trip to baldy that was a long ways on that thing, she was giving that f*** bucket Popo hell though huh?

Agreed..i enjoy being able to work on my own s***. At the rate thimgs are going youre gonna have to go to a dealer just to change the friggin oil:mad:

I'm not sure about getting oil changed at a dealer.
It will be more like going to BestBuy, the pimply faced boy with greasy hair will point you to the corner to get a latte while you wait for him to turn it off and turn it back on again too see if that fixes it.
