LOL...i was about to say something about being dropped in the Sahara with 1 machine of my choice...a machine where its failure would mean certain death...then easily the 700. I think the 500 is probably equally reliable, but less capable in the Sahara. So i guess the 700 for the Sahara, and the 500 for the jungle. There ya go!I love the 1000 even with our problems but...if the end of the world comes I sure as s*** would rather a 700. 700 is old school like Honda quads and will sit in the weather for 10 years and still fire up. Technology is great till you have to pay for it out of pocket. Most warranties will expire before the payment does. I've recently learned not put 100% trust into warranty anyways.
