Seat and back is it that much better? My mechanic at dealer told me I should put newer air box under hood like 34 bucks

It's just the bottom seat. Same back. And yes absolutely on airbox cover, or snorkel. Even if you live in the desert!

Just do a underhood snorkel. Like $8. @Ragnar406 has the part number of the tube from oreillys and your done.

I made one out of 2" pvc and used a 3" to 2" fernco to attach before i went to my airbox snorkle.
