Y'all know I hate to give GM any credit at all... BUT until I couldn't avoid a lane width TN pothole, I would almost forget the gooseneck was back there it pulled it so well. Its still a Chevy... boo Chevy

This is the first time I’ve ever slept in my camper while it’s not on the truck. I was told when I first bought my camper that I needed put support under the floor so my weight wouldn’t damage the bottom of the camper because there’s obviously no support under it. So, I went to Home Depot and bought some cinder blocks and an 8 foot length of 4 x 6 and stack them all up enough and lowered the camper down on top of it. It’s quite sturdy. I also got to Really clean out the camper for the first time since this trip started. Nice to get some laundry done including my big sleeping bag, because somebody I know happened to Pee on it one night recently.

Hope you have a big gas tank ... gosh darn. But your are hauling a lot + we know how you guys pack

No..no the gas tank is quite small, every time I filled it up I could plan which gas station to stop at with it’s increadible 180 mile range... after two flats, stopping 15 times for gas, a 18 wheeler fire in the Eisenhowers tunnel and a lovely night detour through the Loveland Pass we finally arrived. I logged 1400 miles and 24 hrs of driving time strait (not counting when I was filling it with gas). I think I’ll take a nap now

At 8mpg that's gm is getting at least 64 miles per tank less than the ram. That adds up.

Isn’t there a RAM getting 2MPG on the way to UTAH?


Also you guys own the truck and tow with it. Joey and I were given the keys.

The consistency of the results might be in question due to truck configuration, route, driver, and load configuration.

6.4 gas. They all get that crap milage. My brother tundra gets 8 pulling a wolverine on a 10' trailer
