I’m exceeding the suggested oil specs in the manual but I figured the higher operating temp with synthetic would be a good choice. I do however have a seeping gasket somewhere on the front of the motor. I’m curious if the synthetic doesn’t have a bit to do with that. Seems I read somewhere the potential for synthetic oils to move past gaskets over time.

Rotella T in everything I have. Haven’t had the ballz to put it in the new Pioneer just yet after the clutch issues in the last one that just ran GN4 however it was flawless in my original Pioneer 1000. If I do run it in this one I won’t tell anyone lol. Everything else seems just fine, but that’s me.
