just wanted to show a few of the things I did after gathering a bunch of yalls ideas and putting my own interpretation on them. first was adding second battery an isolator and the bussman fuse box.

20736 7818e3ffb46bd7fd23d2b45566cc716120737 8e0ac9ccd8271494579ddf724a688853
next was the 50" lightbar and two cube lights for the rear

20740 a0caaebda89f64df7f90a14760a789db20741 5aa6c2a56dd91e0f04ea1fa26d1017c7
then switch panel with room for future expansion for radio among other things

20742 b1a16dfb7b1f356aef87c90dc3ac8afe
and heres the insulation attached under the seat. its also under the seat back and between the back and the bottom. also the 4" bilge fan.

thanks for all the ideas. funds are depleted now, but more to come eventually!

Nice work! Fund depletion is a common ailment around here. What else you got planned?

thanks it was a lot of work, probably most of it staring at it trying to figure out how I wanted to do it and changing my mind a lot along the way. next thing that probably get done quickest is radio and sound bar. then later on down the road full skids when I can stomach the price (mainly the wife)! also a snorkel at some point. then who knows.

Would you mind showing a close up of how the light bar is mounted?

just used a piece small piece of angle iron drilled and tapped one of the roll cage bolts on each side. then I had to drill new holes in the supplied brackets that came with the lightbar. its real sturdy the way the supplied brackets rest against the roll cage. IMG 0939 IMG 0940

Interesting method with drilling and tapping the actual bolts! I have a 52" curved I've been meaning to get mounted in the same place for awhile now.

Funds are ALWAYS depleted on these things! That's the crappy part. But it's always fun enjoying them. Nice job everything looks tight. Welcome to the club!

Really though nice job. It's hard to keep everything clean on install. There's too many ideas on here and just not enough time or money.

finally got my radio installed used a boss marine radio with polk speakers. mounted speakers in pvc end caps like another member on here did. really liked the way it turned out.View attachment 22951 View attachment 22952 View attachment 22953

Can you give me any more details on that speaker setup? Like what brand and size speaker? How you mounted the speaker inside the cap and did you need to vent the cap? I bought schedule 40 6" caps but I'm not sure how to do the rest so I haven't even started on that project yet.

You'll need a length of 6" Pvc pipe as well, cut off a 2 or 3 inch length and cement it inside the cap flush with the edge so the screws holding the speaker have something to bite into. No venting needed, just drill a small hole in the bottom to feed the wire through.
