First off, welcome to the forum. If asking about an option for winch wiring with a protective breaker, I’ll give it a shot. This breaker is a also a benefit by being switched .

Check your winch max draw and ensure the breaker amp rating is sufficient, might be in the 200-300 amp range, and be sure to match the wire gauge for the amp rating.
I mounted the waterproof switched breaker on 6 gauge wire just off the battery behind the passenger seat frame, then removed the skid plate and ran it to the hood, also wrapped inside split loom wire jacket for extra protection again chafing shorts.

@Rustneversleeps shows he also added a separate relay circuit and fuse block to provide more accessory power and terminals for more amp capacity than provided by the 15 amp total OEM sub-harness, Not necessary if just hooking up the winch.
