P1000 Heat shield/sound barrier P1000-6

Just got a 2018 Honda pioneer 1000–5. Have had my Foreman for a while but new into the SXS game. Still trying to figure out accessories to add, etc. One thing based on summer heat, as it is here right now. Does anybody have the under seat heat matting in their machine and is it worth doing? Does it really make enough difference to install?

Best thing I've done to ours. The steam flash from going through shallow streams scared me and I wouldn't let children ride in the front seat, after We bought the Shield, I do.

Quick shield and under seat fan are your best bet.
The quick shield made a Yuge difference, one of the best mods I’ve done.

The combination works pretty well together. Either a bilge fan or a small radiator style fan aimed at the headers will blow the hot air from under the machine. Not 100% but that's where the heat shield comes in, and it also prevents the hot steam baths coming up when ever water hits the engine.
