I finished processing all the squash and pumpkins that froze in the walk in storage container when the power went out. I’m mainly after the seeds, but many still had good flesh inside , so I baked then processed these into gallon ziplocs The unsalvageable went up onto the swales to feed the deer, add organic compost to the swale and hopefully some errant seeds will grow out of it this season. And i threw out my back again…Gonna make Kabocha soup! I also saved a few white acorn and red curry squash. Got seeds?

Do you miss your excavator? I bought one about 4 months ago.View attachment 417554
I still have mine and use it weekly here on the farm. Almost got stuck in the muck yesterday! Lately, I’ve been using it to load the sawmill.
