Hello all I’m very interested in these machines for hunting fishing and trails , I’m wanting a 700-4 but the wife is trying to talk me into a 1000-4 what you guys think should I go with her recommendation ? 🤣👍

When you say 1000-4....you mean the Talon? Or the 1000-5 Pioneer? Vs the 700 I'd do the 1K but if you're looking to use it for hunting/work I'd look at the Pioneer over the Talon.....my 2 cents

Yah the pioneer 1000-5 for sure really the more bed room the better , when I’m solo or two guys I’ll have 2 dog boxes in the back for my dogs gonna need a bed extender to go with it 👍

I have owned both. Loved the 700, one tough little machine. When hunting, I had to ride the brakes a lot just to go slow enough. The cab gets cramped really easy, even when alone. It does not have a low range. Also being a single cylinder, it’s very noisy.

Comparing it to the 1000. The 1000 can seat 3 across the front seat. The 700 won’t. The 1000 has a low range . You can creep along with it.

The 1000 has a 2 cylinder engine, not only more power, but smoother running and quieter than the 700.

You will be happier with the 1000. The one inch wider machine isn’t noticeable at all.

Welcome from Central Florida. I would even get a 520 over the 700. Get the 1000, don't over think it.
