Hello from Northern Ca. I recently purchased a new 2024 1000-5 Forest, (purchased in Oregon and now trying to figure out a way to avoid Ca taxes…). I’ve already jumped in head first down the rabbit hole of what and how to start adding to it to, to fit my purposes. This bike will be used for hunting, getting to fishing spots, and some light trail riding with the wife and kids in the mountains.

Have already purchased a second battery/battery isolator, light bar, soundbar and some rear lights, amongst some other safety related accessories. I don’t have much in the way of pictures yet but will post more after the first round of modifications are done.

Looking forward to learning and contributing to the forum.

Thanks Remington. Yes… Newscum, our politics, and our gun laws suck. I’m stuck here with close family, kids entrenched in school/sports, and a job I love. We make the best of it and have some family property, family cabins and hunting leases to get away to. Could be worse!

Another welcome from The Great Lakes State. Not to be confused with being a great state though. Unless you are a commie, then you will love it here.

Good lookin’ rig 👍🏼

Thanks for all the welcome posts. Finally got out for a couple quick rides with the kids this weekend. Also was able to install the dual battery system, light bar and sound bar. Kids love it as much as I do. Now I’ve got to get a rear panel to mitigate the dust! If any one has any suggestions on rear panels, I’m all ears.
