I have debated on the purchase of the 1000, but found a used 700-4 at a great price and we love it.

Look up the number of problems the 1000 has had-heat issues, trans issues, etc.. Now look up problems with 700. None. Love my 700-4 Deluxe! Does everything I need without a hiccup! If the 700 suits your needs it will probably meet those needs more trouble-free than a 1000.
