We have a group of guys from SW Louisiana making a ride at hidden falls in Texas. We’ve never been so this will be a scouting trip. Looking forward to a good time.

If anyone here has no one to ride with and wants to join us then come on. We will arrive at the park mid day 3-25 and ride the afternoon then all day 3-26, drive home 3-27. We’ll have a mix of sort machines not specific to a certain brand or model.

We have tried several times to schedule this as a family trip but with our kids of various ages and different schools it just never worked out. This wil be a guy trip to scout out the park. Summer time is NOT the time to be out there!

Spring, fall, and winter will typically provide good weather. Summer could be a little hot and humid.

For sure! Summer down here is brutal heat and humidity. If it weren't for family and good jobs I certainly wouldn't live in SW Louisiana! Summer around Austin is just oven hot, but less humid.

I grew up in the alternate cajun capital - Port Arthur. Same climate and very close to southwest Louisiana. I know about hot and humid.

Hoping to get some good drone pics and videos of this ride. My problem is that I don't want to stop riding to fly the drone.

Make sure you take your drone up to wildcat mountian in the late evening at sunset.

The R&D (ride and destroy) department is hard at work this weekend at Hidden Falls. The dry and dusty conditions are great for proving the effectiveness of the Talon intake prefilter.

Shifter plates are performing well too with all the tight manuevers for this rock crawling business. Nice to not have to look at the shifter for gear selection. I’ve never shifted so much in one day!! No problems with low gear all day.

Maps attached with highlighted trails that we rode. Total mileage on my Talon trip was 64.1 on Friday after lunch and all day Saturday.

The ATV trails are mostly easy around that Valley Road area. A few trails had a short piece of technical terrain. Sport 2wd ATVs will struggle on these sections.

The Full Size map includes the most difficult trails. We attempted a 5 diamond section of trail but stock tires are not nearly large enough for the rock ledges.
