Windrock trip June 22-25

@RickyB and myself are planning a Windrock trip for June the 22nd till the 25th. Will be taking our P500s as well as my wifes Rancher and his Foreman. If anyone else would like to ride with us or come by the campsite and have a beer, your more than welcome. Will be staying at the Windrock campground. I know there a few members close by, so if you can come ride with us.

I could almost make it but not quite lol. Going to a week day shift but it's a couple weeks after those dates lol. Can't wait to get in on some weekend rides like a normal person. Windrock is on my "things I can actually do" bucket list lol. Have fun and be safe!

Sh.. If i wasnt going fishing I'd be there. My 500 hasn't see mud since the takeover. Just sitting in the garage.

Nothing set in stone for now. Just gonna hit the trails in the mornings and ride till everyone gets ready to head back to the campground. Probably mostly ride the moderate trails. Wouldn't mind to explore some of the North side. The radar base is as far as I've been.

Getting loaded up to head out tommorow. Looks like it will be a wet trip with rain chances at 70-90% Thursday thru Saturday.

Well we are here, rode about 20 miles after getting camp set up. Hope not too much rain this weekend.

Had 2 deer walk by camp while we were making a ton of noise. And found this cute black rat snake crossing G1 as we headed up the mountain, moved him out of the way before someone ran over him like I almost did.

Are you at the Windrock camp ground? Rode trail 2 this weekend and it has been groomed.
Trial 26 and 27 are nice easy/ moderate trails on the west side of the park. Pack a lunch the Rock solid picnic shelter is nice.
Trial 83 and 84 will give you a small challenge but doable in a 500. Great views from American Knob.
Trial 22 is rough right now- in the rain it will become very dangerous on the steep grades.

LOL, nothing religious about it. If its venomous it dies quickly. Harmless ones get a free pass to eat more vermin.

Trail 40 on the North side of the windmills is a rattlesnake pit on night rides so beware!

800 plus SXS- vendors (food and parts) - demo rides
A lot more riding area and different types of trails.
If from here so I'm not bias- I like Windrock better.

I would t want to drive that far for the jamboree. Be too many people and the riding would be crammed. Maybe the weekend before or after...
