Ran into this couple days ago and thought I'd share. Could've turned ugly quick. If you have the HL bracket lift (2.5"), check the rear bracket on drivers side for wiring interference. It's possible the edge of the bracket just over from the shock mount can be stretching part of your wiring. The wires involved are for tail lights/brake lights and O2 sensor. These wires are held snug to the frame with plastic hold downs. There's very little play in the wiring. My bracket was against the wires and had them stretched pretty bad. So bad my rig wouldn't start and threw codes. By time I got back with my manual to look up codes, the pgm icon stopped flashing. I got it to start and noticed smoke coming from area of O2 sensor. I traced wire and found where bracket had pressure on it. Fix is simple. Just take screwdriver and pry out hold down. That'll free up enough room to clear corner of bracket yet won't leave wiring loose enough to hang on anything. Mine starts perfectly fine now. I didn't let it run ling enough to go into closed loop mode so I still don't know if I have O2 sensor damage. Hope this helps someone. Not a good feeling seeing smoke come out of your machine (not counting burnouts of course).

It's up in there pretty far. It won't be blatantly obvious just by quick visual inspection. Get in there and look.

Removing rear driver's side tire helps alot. Hard getting my fat head up in there lol.

I'll go check right now. I was worried about the brake lines. in the rear any issues with rubbing . I used a couple zip ties to hold them back.
I didn't even think to check brake lines. Too obsessed with those wires lol. I'll check those lines asap.

My biggest concern is the break line is a hair away from rubbing on the shock
Have you ran stock tires with that lift? I noticed my craphorns have less than a finger width between it and rear shock lol.
