Had a few people asking about my Canopy on the back of my P1000 -3 . This is the third one that I built . The need to keep my dogs out of the cold /wet weather while riding was what started the builds. First on a Ranger second on Honda P700 -2 and now on my P1000 - 3 . I spent time building over a 3 week period .Due to it being summer and many other things needing to get done. Hardest part is trying to figure out the angles and contours to fit against the cab and look good. The front window of the canopy fits tight against the cabs back window . This way heat can be allowed into the canopy too. I try to keep it as light as possible , all the joints are glued / screwed together .

Hats off to your builds! They look great.

I set out to make a version of what you did but in a p1k5. I basically ran out of time and strapped a tarp over the rear section. Looks jenky but works well enough to take kids out when it's single digits outside :)

Awesome job! You’ve inspired me to maybe try something with plywood for my cab. I have the full roll bar on my 1000-5 so I may be able to mount the cab using the roll bar… not sure yet. I would still like to have functionality of the rear seats/doors although I mostly always have them folded down as the bed set up
