P1000 Honda down!

The rig was running good. Came to a stop and it was like the trans was stuck in a higher gear. It eventually stalled. Cycled the key to ACC and you can hear it clicking or trying to downshift. It would start back up and go for 2 or so miles and do it again. Gear indicator flashed a code but I lost count. It was in the 50's. Maybe 54 or something. It did it 4 times but now I can't get the code back.

Nope. It burns some oil but it's not low. I wish I could have got the damn code.
