Replaced my old fuel filter more as precaution due to bad gas, p1K5 maybe ran 30 seconds before realizing had put bad gas in it and turned it off, as a precaution went ahead and replaced the field filter after pulling, draining and cleaning the gas tank. Here is the old filter cut open to see inside it.

I was looking for a post on this Sunday to c if it was a easy in line filter or if u would have to dig into the gas tank. I gave up and got some heet gas treatment and filled up with hi test non ethonal gas. Glad I did cause seems to have done the trick so far but must have had a low dose of h20 in it. Appreciate the post and pics bud

I guess anything is possible lol, but this whole assembly sits in the gas tank and hen you have to take off the fuel pump which sits inside it and also take out the check valve on the Sadie so it could flow fuel in reverse but I don’t think it would be easily done.

Removing the tank was easier than I thought and I just used the back side of socket extension to take off the lock ring and put it back on, the fuel filter is PIA to take out of the filter because of the clips (three total) that has to be pulled out and the sides pushed in at the same time and all clips same time.
